This is not a good idea.This is national assignment and considering our current economic situations , the moneyt should be reduced to $2.000 per match. That's the best remuneration that should be paid to these players

@ kwame you got it wrong!!!! no one is paying them $35,000 per match. Plus remember if they get to the finals there is money that comes from AFCON. That alone should be enough to cover all expenses. You dig???

In gh, the govt and gfa don't invest in coaches and infrastructure so how do you expect to win trophies? When gh won those 4afcon trophies, we had invested in infrastructure and coaches more than most nations on the continent. And then we went to sleep!

These are players earning bucket loads of money every week and paying them that money for winning the cup isn't that much. The commercial aspects of the tournament is also taken into consideration. Do you remember how much Gyan was earning in China? Eye-watering figures!!!

They have very short carrier circles. Further more they can easily get injured during their national assignments. A case in point is Jerry Akaminko and most resently Baba Rahman. Considering some of these impediments that the soccer player faces,i don,t usually break hell when they are remunerated.Based on some of facts and others,i think we should disagree to agree with the minister and give them the $5000 per match.
