Plz people should kindly do away with tribal comments. Even not all Ahafos trace their ancestry from Ashanti. Some sections do n some also do not.For example Duayaw Nkwata,Bomaa n some section of Tepa don't trace their ancest ...

Some Ahafo sections also trace their ancestry from Akyim n Sefwi just like Kumawu n Kumasi Asafo in Ashanti trace theirs from Akwamufie but the majority of the Ahafo people trace theirs from Ashanti. Again Dormaa was part of Ashanti Confideracy but Dormaa had never owed alliance to Asantehene.
