Kotoko officials actually made a mistake by not protesting the appointment of an Accra based Referee and more likely a Hearts supporter to referee this match. A Saint Aquinas High school teacher turned Referee should not have been appointed to officiate this game.

Think about it, would Hearts accept a Kumasi based Referee to officiate a match between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak for a match in Kumasi?

This Referee is using Christianity to shield himself for deciding this match. We all saw it and the ball never touched his hands.

Assuming that he didn't take any inducement from any corner, why can't we forgive him and rather encourage him to try to improve upon his performance in future. Yes, Kotoko lost 3 points, but should the world come to an end because of that? Please, let us put "Sukah" behind us and move ahead, Kotoko have a very bright chance of winning this season's league.

When was the last time you saw this old fashioned style being applied in soccer? We used to do this when we played at colts level in the sixties! The referee was nearest to the action spot. When you watch the clip, you see a Hearts player raise his hand instinctively immediately the ball hit Adams. What did he see?

If you a close to somebody who is about to kick the ball hard at your direction, your natural instinct will prompt you to turn your face and groin area from the ball and turn your back to the ball and Adams turned too fast he he fell down. We all saw what happened and you cannot tell us Adam three himself down to prevent a goal. That ball could have been easily caught by the goalkeeper.
