What you're overlooking is that there were serious overall management problems, which culminated in indiscipline among the players. Yes, I admit that Kwasi Appiah had faults, especially not having adequate assertive and disciplinary skills to stamp his authority on the players. He must have learned and grown from this experience, so stop criticizing him unwarrantably. Who the hell is the Sagnol. Read what he said: 'Willy Sagnol apologises for "imperfect semantics" over description of African players as "powerful" but lacking "technique, intelligence and discipline.' In his subconscious mind, Ghanaian players are unintelligent, and he'll behave and think about them in this manner.

He defeated Zambia and Egypt to qualify for WC 2014. Meanwhile Grant drew with Uganda and lost to Egypt because he failed to make substitutions. Appiah did in fact take the team to the semi-finals of the AFCON at 2013. Grant got to the finals in 2015 and the semis in 2017. If we are honest with ourselves Grant pretty much used the same set of players Appiah handed to him. At this point, let us use a local coach and let him have a free hand to do his job. We are not going to the WC so we might as well concentrate on CHAN 2018 and AFCON 2019.
