Former Ghana U-20 star, Emmanuel Banahene was on the scoresheet twice in Al Ittihad’s 2-2 stalemate with Wadi Degla on Friday night in the Egyptian Premier League.
The bulky forward who missed his side’s 3-0 defeat to El Daklyeh last week started for his side and he struck twice to secure a point on the night.
The Ghanaian shot his side in front in the 9th minute before Senegalese Ibrahima Ndiaye restored parity and netted his second goal on the 74th mark.
Mahmoud Marie, however, scored for Al Ittihad four minutes to stoppage time to deny Wadi Degla all three points.
The Ghanaian striker has now scored 3 goals in five matches for his side this season.
