Ghana defender John Boye was the hero Turkish side Sivasspor as he rescued their chances of returning to the Turkish top-flight when scoring in their clash with his compatriot Jerry Akaminko's Eskisehirspor on Sunday.
The match finished 2-2 as Boye's goal ensures that Sivasspor keep in touch with second-placed Eskisehirspor as they chase promotion to Lig 1.
With Akaminko playing for Eskisehirspor, Semi Senturk fired the home side into the lead on 29 minutes.
But Ghana defender Boye restored parity in the 65th minute after when he latched onto a failed effort by the goalkeeper to grab at the first attempt.
Meye restored Eskisehirspor's lead in the in the 71st minute but only lasted for eight minutes for the visitors to equalise through Brazilian striker Leandrinho.
The two Ghanaian players in the game played the entire duration leaving their sides with a good chance of returning to the top flight.
