I came from Ghana to win trophies-Latif Blessing
July 12, 2017 EDMUND GYIMAH blessing Sporting Kansas City Ghanaian forward Latif Atta Blessing has pointed out that he came to the MLS to win trophies.
The 2016 Ghana Premier League goalking was the man of the match at the Children’s Mercy Park as his brace in extra time helped his side to defeat FC Dallas by three goals to nothing in the US Open Cup on Tuesday evening.
Latif who is gradually warming himself into the Wizards starting line up emphasized after the game that his mission is to win laurels.
“I’m very happy,” Blessing told reporters. “I thank Benny; he just gave me the passes to score so I give the credit to Benny. We just worked hard for the team to move forward. We are here for the cup. I’m here for the cup. I just came from Ghana to win cups for Kansas City. I’m so happy to win today.”
The game was watched by Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah who is scouting for Ghanaian players in North America.
