Al Qadsia defender Rashid Sumaila says the season has been good despite suffering an injury which has kept him out for some games.
Sumaila who was voted as his club’s player of the season two years ago hinted that all is well this campaign and they can win the league trophy.
“Everything is going on well so far, we won the Crown Prince Cup in January and the second round of the league has been excellent,” Sumaila told footballmadeinghana.com
“Actually, we did not start the campaign well but we have been able to climb to the third position and I believe we can win the league.”
The Ghana Black Stars guardsman also pointed out that he is back from injury and will very soon play again
“On a personal side, I got injured but I have come back and started training with the squad. I am working to gain full fitness for the rest of the games. Things are getting better now.”
Sumaila is on the radar of Qatari giants Al Sadd, Al Gharafa and a host of European clubs.
