Officials of Championship side Birmingham City have invited the agent of Ghanaian enforcer Afriyie Acquah, Oliver Arthur to England to hold talks with him on his client.
The Blues are ready to bring the tough-tackling Ghanaian international to the St. Andrews Park this window and Dailymailgh.com can exclusively reveal that his agent Arthur will fly to England by the close of this week to start negotiations with Birmingham City.
Acquah is currently a free agent after his contract with relegated Italian Serie A side Empoli expired on June 30, 2019.
Despite Empoli’s poor outing last season, Acquah was one of their stand out players making 28 appearances and scoring twice from his defensive midfield position.
He is also being courted by Parma, Lecce and a host of MLS clubs.
