Esperance de Tunis midfielder Kwame Bonsu has suffered a fresh injury and could be out for sometime.
The Ghanaian midfielder suffered a muscle tear in his side's goalless draw against AS Vita in the CAF Champions League on Friday night.
Bonsu was replaced by Ben Romdhane in the 31st after he appeared in pains.
The midfielder will undergo scans in the coming days to reveal the extent of injury and the number of days he will be out.
The ex-Asante Kotoko player has been a regular for the Red and Golds since joining the club in the summer.
Esperance dominated the game last night but could not find the back of the net at the Stade Olympique de Rades.
The African champions lead group with seven points after three games, just a point above Moroccan side Raja Casablanca.
