Ghana and Deportivo Alaves midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has been linked to Chinese club Shanghai Senhua in the ongoing transfer window.
The 29-year old contract ends in the summer and has been linked to many clubs in Europe.
The combative midfielder has featured 26 times for Alaves this season in the Spanish La Liga and has been counted among the best midfielders in the league this season.
According to reports Shanghai Senhua are looking to bring in a midfielder with Wakaso among their transfer targets.
Senhua earlier made a move for Udinese’s Seko Fofana which failed to materialize and have set sights on Wakaso and Sulayman Marreh of Gent.
Wakaso is currently out with injury and is expected to be fit when the La Liga resumes next weekend.
