U-20 FIFA World Cup winner and former Asante Kotoko defender Samuel Inkoom has named Frank Ribery as the toughest winger he’s ever faced.
The right back came up against Ribery, when FC Basel faced Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League in 2010, a game the Swiss side lost 3-0. Ribery scored a brace in that game.
“Frank Ribery is the toughest winger I have ever faced. I played against him in the Champions League in Munich and it was very difficult,” he told Joy FM.
Inkoom has featured for 12 different clubs across several continents in his nomadic career.
He has been capped 46 times by Ghana with one goal to his name.
