The Junior Doctors Association (JDA) of Ghana calls on all the citizenry to ensure that the peace and tranquility our country enjoys is maintained before, during and after the polls.
We call on the youth especially not to allow themselves to be used as conduit by politicians to perpetuate electoral violence and infarctions.
We again encourage all and sundry to avoid hate speech, smear campaigns and sensationalism at this crucial time in the life of our dear motherland.
We implore the EC officials, party representatives and observer missions to ensure that, the elections are conducted under fair and transparent means. This will ensure that the verdict is accepted by all.
Doctors on duty will be on extra alert to attend to any emergencies that will arise from the heartbreaks and joys stemming from the outcome of the elections..
Electorates should take extra caution in safeguarding their personal safety and properties.
Ghana is all we have and there is only ONE GHANA!
