Understanding our senses and Mastery of them, basic building blocks to a stress free living - F.P. Mensah

The founder of The Way Networks, Mr. F.P. Mensah has suggested that most humans are grappling with life existence because of their inability to understand their senses, develop a dialogue skill with the senses and mastery of their senses.

He emphasised that people must be conscious of the existence of their senses energy as a tool to be used by them and not to identify with it. "We are not our senses".

And to navigate the labyrinth of this life with relative ease, one needs to identify his dominant sense which is an outcome of mastering the five senses and how to apply it in life.

In an interview on Nyansa TV YouTube channel on October 29, 2024, the Life Coach explained that for far too long we have been strangers to our senses and this has allowed our senses to be on autopilot mode, perceiving the external reality without checks and balances. We are not taught how to apply the senses. "Nobody teaches you how to taste, smell, hear, feel, and see. These come naturally because they are our first personality identity through which we are able to relate to the natural world around us and we need to master them if we are to achieve proper relationship with the world around us", he noted.

In explaining how dominant sense works, he likened humans to animals pointing out that all animals be it those in the marine world or the animal kingdom have their dominat senses. While others have developed keen eye sight to determine danger some distance away, there are those that smell danger miles away.

It was his contention that in order for humans to be able to be inventive, innovative and be all that we wish for ourselves especially, Africans, we need to master our senses to align them to the will power within. That, to him is the basic template for growth and development.

Mr. Mensah drew an analogy with a student who goes to the university to study maths without getting the fundamentals of additions, subtraction, multiplication and division right. "There is no way such a student would survive a university maths class since his fundamentals were wrong", he stressed.

To him, if humans do not understand the basics of existence, thus, to master their senses, how can they be expected to live a meaningfully fulfilled spiritual lives.

It is therefore a key, prerequisite necessity and first point of call to understand and master the five senses if we are to attain self/personal independence, awareness and liberation from the prison of the social matrix. For this purpose, the regular school curriculum will not teach you these things.

Arise from psycho-slumber and live.
