Claims regarding alleged appointment lists that have been making the rounds on social media have been denied by the Office of President-Elect John Dramani Mahama.
This comes after purported lists of appointees ascribed to the president-elect went viral.
These lists are "false and unauthorised," according to a statement from the Office signed by Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Special Aide to the President-Elect.
The message further advised the public to ignore such stories and reiterated that no formal nominations or appointments had been made.
It emphasized how crucial it is to get reliable information only from confirmed communications from the Office of the President-Elect.
“We urge all to refrain from spreading unverified information and to rely on official communications from our office,” part of the statement read
