Captain Smart, broadcast journalist, has publicly asked whether Ghanaian soldiers' relocation from the Ashanti to the Volta regions is senseless.
On his Onua Maakye morning broadcast, Captain Smart expressed his ire at the military's deployment to the Volta area to check homes for firearms.
Captain Smart claims that the National Security has verified that the guns the troop was sent to search Voltarian households were located in the Ashanti Region.
“Are soldiers senseless, are you guys crazy? Soldiers in Ghana, don’t you have sense, are you guys mad? Let me tell you, one day you will remove that thing you are calling your uniform, you will become like me, we will all become civilians, and we will show you where power lies in the community we are living with you,” Captain Smart said angrily while speaking on his Onua Maakye. "What are you going to look for in people's rooms? You are a soldier, so what? Commot for Der." He said. "They sent you, and you are in the car like cows."
The Ace broadcaster argued that since Ghana has sixteen areas, why not begin with Greater Accra and send the military to the Northern Region, Upper East, and Upper West?
"Look, even after Rawlings and Mugabe stepped down, you will return home, and if you want to be left alone with all Ghanaians, you will vote against yourselves." The troops in this nation are driving you crazy.
You are obeying any stupid orders, but this is absurd. The guns we are discussing are in the Ashanti Region, so why are you travelling to the Volta Region from the Ashanti Region?" he disclosed.
Captain Smart disclosed Should he be an Ewe, he would discipline the soldiers if they entered his gate.
