In the Manhyia South constituency, the Zongo community's chiefs, Oulama, and opinion leaders have celebrated Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the New Patriotic Party's (NAPO) running mate, for his leadership as their MP.
Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, commonly known as NAPO, stated that the essence of the political enterprise is to serve with all your might and make a significant impact while speaking to tribal chiefs at Moshiehene's Palace in Alabar, Manhyia South Constituency.
According to the chiefs, NAPO received recognition for his outstanding leadership and significant contributions to the constituency's overall development.
Alhaji Ibrahim Abdul Rahman Adam Sanfo III, the Moshie Chief of Kumasi, gave the NPP running mate a citation and expressed his sincere gratitude for the assistance provided to the Muslim community, which includes the Hajj pilgrimage, helping their children pursue higher education, and several initiatives started in the Zongo community.
He wished him well on his next appointment and pledged their support for him on his all activities.
For acknowledging and valuing his small contributions, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh conveyed his sincere gratitude to the Zongo brothers and sisters. He declared that it is his calling and promised to keep doing more.
He reminded them that, as evidenced by their presidential ticket and general demeanour, the NPP is a genuinely national party founded on religious harmony.
"The determination of the Muslim brothers and sisters to cast a large number of votes for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP inspired me," he remarked. The Kumasi-based Progressive Transport Owners Association (PROTOA) leadership also met with Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh. He expressed gratitude to the drivers for all of their help over the years.
In order to strengthen the NPP's gains on Saturday, he also went to the Adum and Kejetia marketplaces and urged the traders to support Dr. Bawumia and the party.
