My administration is still dedicated to carrying out our policy of a 24-hour economy—Mahama

In his New Year's address to Ghanaians, President-elect John Dramani Mahama reaffirmed his resolve to fulfill his pledges.

The incoming president stated in a statement that his administration is still dedicated to putting the 24-hour economy agenda into practice.

He pointed out that this will increase employment prospects and turn Ghana into an export-oriented economy.

"Together, we will establish an atmosphere that encourages innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development, guaranteeing that our young people can realize their aspirations here at home," the statement read.
