John Dramani Mahama, the president-elect, and his family were warmly greeted home by Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso, his chiefs, queen mothers, and the populace.

The president-elect spent Christmas and his customary Boxing Day festivities with the town's children in Bole, his hometown.
