Black Stars striker Antoine Semenyo was on target as AFC Bournemouth beat Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday.
In this English Premier League matchday 17, rookie manager Ruben Amorim was aiming for just his third domestic league victory. Dean Huijsen, however, gave the Cherries the lead in the 29th minute when he headed in a corner kick.
The goal ended the first half 1-0.
A penalty awarded the visitors in the second half saw them double their lead through Justin Kluivert.
Just a couple of minutes later, Semenyo found himself in the goal area to smash home the third goal, his fifth this season.
The loss sees the Red Devils drop to 13th on the log with Bournemouth up 5th.
As we head into the Christmas break, Manchester United already has 22 points.
Next Thursday, they will meet Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium.
