Ernest Owusu Bempah, the former General Manager of Ghana Gas, has been making waves with his recent claims about his time at the company. Apparently, his appointment was facilitated by President Akufo-Addo, and he acknowledges that his position is tied to the President's tenure .
Owusu Bempah is adamant that he's committed to transparency and accountability, stating that he's never engaged in corrupt practices during his time as General Manager. He claims to have never signed any questionable contracts nor accepted a government-issued vehicle for personal use .
What's more, Owusu Bempah shared an interesting anecdote about an energy conference where he was offered $3,000, but he declined the offer. He also mentioned that he used his own vehicle and purchased office furniture with his own funds, emphasizing that he didn't receive any additional benefits beyond his salary .
