Owusu Bempah Accused of Masterminding Ghana Gas AstroTurf Takeover

Ernest Owusu-Bempah, the Head of Corporate Communications at Ghana National Gas Company Limited, is being blamed for the recent attack on the company's corporate office. A group of unidentified youth stormed the premises, attempting to forcibly open the main gate, but were dispersed by a joint security taskforce .

According to Ghanaian journalist Bridget Otoo, Owusu-Bempah's disrespect towards former President John Dramani Mahama is the reason behind the attack. Owusu-Bempah, who is also the Deputy Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party, has been an outspoken critic of Mahama during his time in opposition .

Bridget Otoo took to her X page to express her thoughts, stating that Owusu-Bempah's actions have angered the youth, leading to the attack. However, she advised the youth to retreat and find a more constructive way to address their grievances .
