Video: Fire guts portions of Tema Community 4.

A fire has broken out in parts of the Tema Community 4 residential complex.

The cause of the fire, which began at dawn on Friday, January 3, 2025, is unknown.

The fire is thought to have originated in a residence in Community 4, and no casualties have been reported.

However, the fire, which could have been halted in time, raged on because the Ghana National Fire Service could not be reached by phone.

Some concerned residents had to travel to the Tema fire station's office to request that they come and put out the fire.

Ghanaians are concerned and worried about the recent incidences of fire outbreaks, which occurred barely three days into 2025.

On January 1, 2025, a store in Kumasi was burned down after a knockout caused the fire, resulting in a loss of thousands of cedis for the shop owner.

Coincidentally, the next day, January 2, 2025, a fire ravaged Accra's Kantamanto market, destroying hundreds of businesses and costing traders millions of cedis.
