Due to suspected ballot tampering, a police officer and a few National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters invaded the Whytegate hotel. The evidence obtained indicates that a confrontation occurred at the Whytegate Hotel in Galilea, close to the Ga South Municipal Assembly, between a few military officials and NDC members. Due to accusations of ballot stuffing, the hotel, which was manned by roughly five military officers, was overrun by NDC supporters and a police officer.
