Near Tesano-Papaye, Salifu Amoako and four other vehicles were involved in a serious traffic accident.

Salifu Amoako, a well-known politician and businessman from Ghana, was among five people involved in a serious traffic accident that happened close to the Tesano-Papaye neighborhood of Accra. Numerous people were injured to varied degrees in the collision, which occurred on the main route and caused severe traffic gridlock.

One of the convoy's vehicles reportedly lost control, resulting in a chain reaction that impacted other cars, according to Yen. Known for his prominence in both the commercial and political arenas, Salifu Amoako was in one of the vehicles when the collision occurred. Fortunately, emergency personnel responded to him promptly, and it is reported that he only suffered minor injuries.

According to witnesses, the situation was chaotic and numerous cars, including a black SUV, a sedan, and two other cars, were seriously damaged. To control the situation and help the injured, emergency personnel, including police, fire, and medical teams, were sent to the location right away. No fatalities have been confirmed, however sources state that the injured were sent to a local hospital for treatment. Police are still investigating the reason of the collision, although preliminary reports point to a potential driver error or mechanical breakdown. To ascertain the precise cause and stop similar incidents in the future, authorities are urging a more comprehensive investigation.

Commuters were forced to use alternate routes while recovery and cleanup efforts were conducted due to the incident's severe traffic backup in the area. It is recommended that local drivers use caution when driving along the route, particularly during rush hour. Representatives for Salifu Amoako have thanked those who provided assistance on the scene and reassured the public that the businessman is doing well. As investigations proceed, the authorities have committed to keeping the public informed.
