An Accra-based media site claims that during a press conference in Kumasi, Joseph Yamin and former police chief Kofi Boakye were attacked by NDC security boys. Conclusion: Deceitful! Reason: According to the Ghana Fact-checking Coalition, Joseph Yamin, the National Organiser of the NDC, had a press conference in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, on December 6, 2024, which was interrupted by angry party youth.

Several journalists and eyewitnesses who were there at the occasion have corroborated that former Commissioner of Police Kofi Boakye was not present at the aforementioned press conference, according to the Coalition's checks. Additionally, according to our inspections, Mr. Boakye departed Kumasi this morning in order to cast his ballot in Accra.
