Okada rider beheaded, irate youngsters vandalize police station in Gomoa Obuasi

Kwame Ofosu, a 21-year-old Okada rider, was brutally decapitated by an unidentified attacker, leaving the people of Gomoa Mfantse-Moa in the Gomoa Central District of the Central Region gasping.

According to reports, the attacker paid the victim to drive them to a nearby village.

But when the attacker arrived at a remote stretch of road, he allegedly killed the motorcyclist, stole his head, and ran away.

The newly opened Gomoa Obuasi Police Station was invaded by irate community youth after the horrifying incident, and they damaged the facility, a police car, and officers' private vehicles.

Apparently, false information that several suspects had been taken into custody by the police was the driving force behind the attack.

Gomoa Afranse-Ofaso Electoral Area Assemblyman Ibrahim Obeng verified the horrific event and disclosed that the attackers had snatched the victim's head in an interview with Adom News.

Before providing their services, he advised Okada riders to be cautious and interview passengers' backgrounds.

Police are looking into the matter and have asked the public to remain calm while reporting any suspicious activity so that the offenders can be caught.
