Maame Kali claims that Greedy Matilda Asare kept GH₵301k given to us to campaign for NPP and only gave me GH₵2,000.

Maame Kali, a veteran Kumawood actor, has accused her colleague Matilda Asare of squandering money provided to her by NPP executives to promote for them.

According to her, she was one of the Kumawood actors who campaigned actively for the NPP in the 2020 elections.

However, after exhausting their resources, they were trapped and decided to go to the NPP headquarters for financial assistance.

Following the visit, Maame Kali revealed that Matilda Asare had phoned her to meet at a hotel for money. She revealed that one of the party executives offered them GH₵301k to split between themselves.

Maame Kali described how Matilda Asare took the money and gave her and the rest of the squad peanuts.

"Matilda is a greedy woman. Despite receiving a large cash, she only gave me GH₵2,000. Some received GH₵500 and others GH₵1000. When we objected, she chose to lie to us. I can never forgive her for what she did to us." She confessed.
