A van containing suspicious gold bars that were purportedly about to be flown out of Ghana was intercepted by authorities.
In three short viral videos, police officers are seen circling the van with other persons. While counting the supposed gold bars, the police assisted to empty the van.
In the video, a man can be heard stating you said 17, but it's actually only two. They eventually withdrew the additional gold bars while the crowd continued to count them one by one.The gold bars were escorted to the Greater Accra Regional Police Headquarters.
Background
On December 17, 2024, about 3:20 p.m., Kevin Taylor, the host of With All Due Respect, claimed that he had information that a van full of gold bars was on its way to the airport.He claimed that the reported gold bars will be flown to Dubai.
Following that, the Ghana Police Service made an attempt to intercept it.
