Elrad Amoako, a relative of one of the two young girls killed by Salifu Amoako's son, has called for a revision of the juvenile penal system.
According to the relative, juvenile detention institutions should be modified so that punishment is proportionate to the offense committed.
The juvenile court today sentenced Elrad Salifu Amoako to six months in a senior correctional facility.
This came after he pled guilty to eight charges, including two counts of manslaughter.
Speaking with the media, the family couldn't understand why someone would be imprisoned for only six months after killing two innocent girls.
"I hope that it will lead to modifications to the country's legislation. "You cannot kill two people and receive a six-month sentence," the family member told the journalists.
