Ghana winger Albert Adomah is set to make a return from injury ahead of Aston Villa's clash with Leeds United on Sunday.
The 31-year-old has been out for some time now after picking up an injury in Villa's 4-2 win over Birmingham City on November 25.
Adomah returned to training last week but could not be passed fit for Saturday's 2-2 draw with Stoke City.
He is expected to make a return this weekend against Leeds, but could start from the bench.
The winger was Aston Villa's best player last season after scoring 15 goals to help the club reach the playoffs only to lose to Fulham in the finals and miss out on Premier League promotion.
The ex-Middlesborough forward has been on the radar of several championship sides including the Riverside club.
