Andre Ayew shared insights about balancing fame and personal life during a sports psychology lecture at the University of Ghana.

The event, led by Dr. Collins Agyemang Badu, saw Ayew engaging with students and discussing his experiences.

Ayew, who began his international career in 2007, has since made 120 appearances and scored 24 goals for Ghana. His debut match was a friendly against Senegal, where he appeared as a late-match substitute. In 2008, he was selected for the Ghana squad at the Africa Cup of Nations, and two years later, he scored his first international goal against Burkina Faso in the same tournament.

During the lecture, Ayew emphasized the importance of managing fan attention and maintaining a healthy personal life. He attributed his ability to balance these aspects to his early family life.

"Having a family quite young... helped me a lot in that aspect," he said.

Ayew believes that the stability provided by his family has been a blessing, preventing him from making mistakes that are common among young footballers.

He concluded by saying, "We try to manage it because it comes a lot from everywhere."
