Andre Ayew was training at the Ajax Park
Former Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew has been spotted training at the Ajax Park in Accra following his omission from Ghana’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup preparation camp.
The veteran forward, who recently ended the season with Dutch side NAC Breda, was seen taking part in an intense training session with Nania FC, the club founded by his father, Abedi Pele.
Videos circulating online showed the former Ghana skipper actively involved in drills with the team as he continues to maintain fitness during the off-season.
Despite missing out on the Black Stars squad under head coach Carlos Queiroz, Ayew appeared sharp and fully focused in training, with many fans praising his professionalism and work ethic.

The FIFA U-20 World Cup winner recently completed a difficult campaign in the Netherlands with NAC Breda.
Although Ayew brought leadership and experience to the squad, the club was unable to avoid relegation from the Dutch top flight.
The former Swansea City and West Ham United forward made 17 appearances during the season and scored once as NAC Breda finished 17th in the league.
