The feud between New Patriotic Party (NPP’s) Kennedy Agyapong and Former President Jerry John Rawlings seems unending as the former has taken another swipe against the former military leader and Head of State.

Known for speaking without mincing words, the firebrand Member of Parliament for Assin Central who believes the former President has to pay for his ‘evil’ deeds; killing people under his regime says his death will be a long and very excruciating one.

Mr. Kennedy Agyapong who appears to have lost his spleen while speaking on Oman FM’s boiling “Boiling Point” cited Mr. Rawlings, as a living example of the unbearable agony ex-servicemen who wrongfully murdered persons will have to go through before being called to glory.

“You see how Rawlings has been shaking. He is not died yet, he won’t die now. Rawlings will suffer to the glory of God”, Mr. Agyapong said in Twi to the show host.

His comments were made in relation to Colonel Aggrey Quarshie, PRO of the Ghana Armed Forces’ earlier attack on him.

Col. Quashie speaking to Kumasi-based Ultimate FM made statements to suggest that Mr. Agyapong cannot buy his way into earning slots in the military for ‘his people’ as GAF remains professional in its dealings and will continue to recruit persons into the military solely based on merit.

“Enlistment of applicants into the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) is always based on merits not political influence or any other means…..People think that if I pay money to somebody I can get myself in there. If all your documentation is correct you stand an equal chance like any other person to be picked.”

“People make these statements because they have the right to say whatever they want to say but we are also focusing on our process. ..There is no way anybody will be recruited by unfair means”, the Colonel and PRO said in response to Mr. Agyapong’s previous comments on a show that he was keenly looking forward to getting special military protocol slots for “his people” otherwise “he will make noise”.
