Inter Milan manager Luciano Spalletti has described new recruit Kwadwo Asamoah as the "perfect, complete" player for the Nerazzurri.
The Ghanaian is among the new faces at The Suning Training Centre as pre-season training intensifies, having completed a transfer from Italian champions Juventus last week.
He comes with a bag of trophies and experience, having spent six seasons with the Old Lady, during which he won six Serie A titles, four Coppa Italia and three Super Cups.
“Why can’t we do well this year? We’ll manage to build a team that’ll allow us to be on the heels of the strongest teams," Spalletti told pressmen on Friday.
“Taking into consideration our new arrivals and the work put in by the club, there is now a different appeal as to why players want to come to Inter.
“Asamoah is a complete player, he's perfect for sides who want to make steps forward. He already knows what to do.
“Squad list for the Champions League? The only problem will be having to tell those who’ll not be included.
“However, the squad list as a whole will be sufficient for all of our competitions."
Asamoah signed a three-year deal with the Nerazzurri, keeping him at the club until 2021.
He revealed turning down an opportunity to extend his stay with Juventus, having had limited opportunities at the Allianz Stadium.
Aside from the Old Lady, the Ghana international also played for Italian club Udinese and Liberty Professionals in his homeland.
