Ghana winger Christian Atsu is hopeful that the Magpies can rise to the top despite their recent poor form.
The UponTyne side will face West Ham on Sunday at the London Stadium and the Ghanaian is sure they can rise to the occasion as they have all their players fit.
“We have to keep calm. We have many games coming up in December and January,”Atsu told Shieldsgazzette.
“I am very happy that we have a full squad. We will keep working hard like before.
“We have improved and I believe we will keep improving. I am sure we will get out of this situation.”
The Toons are currently in the relegation zone lying 18th on the league log with fifteen points.
