Bawumia speaks on economy today

Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will today, Wednesday, 3 April 2019 address Ghanaians on the state of the economy at an Economic Management Team town hall meeting at the College of Physicians and Surgeons at 10:00am.

The meeting is on the theme: “Our progress, our status, our future”.

The town hall meeting, aimed at briefing Ghanaians on developments in Ghana, is part of a new initiative announced by the Information Ministry.

Dr Bawumia is expected to touch on issues concerning the depreciation of the cedi and Ghana’s exit from the extended IMF credit programme among others.
