Editor in Chief of the New Crusading GUIDE newspaper has described as "reckless" the assertion by reggae radio show host, Blackk Rasta that about 80% of Members of Parliament (MPs) might have used or are still using marijuana.

He was contributing to the debate on the legislature's decision to invoke its contempt powers on two personalities summoned before its privileges committee for comments deemed to have brought members into disrepute.

He remarked; "the wee one is completely reckless," even though he held the view that the decision of parliament to hold people for contempt was not grounded in law and history because the house was not a law court.

Mr. Baako was speaking on Joy FM's news analysis program, News File; he read a parliamentary hazard to indicate that some MPs in their commentaries on the Ebola clinical trials had exhibited ignorance as asserted by Prof Alex Dodoo, an associate professor with the University of Ghana.

The newspaper publisher said he was against anyone who sought to scandalize the legislative arm of government, which he described as his 'baby,' and asked parliament to be more accommodative of some comments; "parliament must have a big heart," he added.

Both men (Blakk Rasta and Prof. Dodoo) have been summoned to appear before the privileges committee of parliament, the have said they are ready to face the committee.

Blakk Rasta has revealed that over 50 lawyers have elected to lead him to appear before the house. He has also promised to convince the house to legalize the banned substance referred to in local parlance as "wee."
