This is truly sad, Kweku Baako, for you to waste time on this story as well. We have in Ghana the institution or journalism that is incapable, impotent and unwilling to inform, educate and conduct meaningful investigations into ongoing acts of bribery and corruption at corporate and government offices because the institution has been sold and bought by the NPP and NDC and nothing else matter. We have had sitting members of parliament and business men and women arrested in other nations carrying drugs which did not shame us. We've had powerful men sleep with same tramps in return for money and access to power and it has not shamed us. We've had convicted and incarcerated ex-members of Ghana's parliament get on a plane to return to Ghana using newly issued Ghana passport and it did not shame us. We've given convicted drug dealers a hero's welcome and or had a President raise the level of known terrorists to national hero status naming landmarks in their names and we did not feel any bit dirty. But a radio personality of insignificance makes a statement about a corrupt and contemptible institution and some seem to have their underpants wind tight. Do you, Kweku Baako and others having sleepless night over this issue, not think it's more of an issue if our officials are reserved for special scrutiny at international airports around the world for illegal travel documents (since we seem to issue diplomatic passports) or for drugs stemming from drug convictions than for a local radio talk show babble? The world is not as unwise as the rest of us in Ghana Kweku Baako; there's more work to be done.

Industrial use of the cannabis plant is legitimate and already happening under controlled conditions in some parts of the world but this should not be confused with the smoking bit which is plain drug abuse and dangerous! The latter use also depends on the strain of the plant we're talking about so the dope head Blakk whatever should not attempt to confuse the issue!! I may wear a cannabis fibre shoe or carry a bag made from the fibre but is it getting into my body system to count as a use vis a vis cannabis smoking??
