Accra, Jan.12, GNA- President John Agyekum Kufuor on Wednesday nominated Miss Christine Churcher, member of Parliament for Cape Coast as a Minister for Environment and Science.
Churcher, who was a Minister of State at the Ministry Of Education (Primary, Secondary And Girl Child) replaces Prof. Kasim Kasanga
A statement issued in Accra and signed by Mr Kwadwo Mpiani, Chief of Staff said the nomination was in conformity with Article 78 (1) of the Constitution and her name had been submitted to Parliament for vetting and approval.
