The Executive Director of Salt and Light Ministries, Rev. Dr. Joyce Rosalind Aryee has opined that if 71% of the population of Ghanaians is Christian, then corruption in the country is a huge stain on our reputation.
Speaking on the Y-Leaderboard Series with host, Rev. Erskine, she quizzed, “How much honesty do we need to bring to the way we do things? how much excellence do we need to practice? how much integrity ought to be important and how does the church measure our contributions?”
Dr Aryee voiced that she is more interested in the church as an institution that enables its members to recognize the importance of their role-played in the development agenda.
For that matter, she would like for the church to spend more time dealing with the many individuals who interface with the society.
“This way, the changes that happen in people’s hearts will transfer to their minds, and make them more effective as transformed people ready to transform society”, she furthered.
Rev. Dr. Joyce added the church needs to do what the Bible says in terms of raising people who are playing their part in making the Kingdom of God here on Earth, more practical and beneficial.
