The 2016 presidential nominee of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, was at the Rock of Ages polling station, Kyebi, to verify his name in the register of voters ahead of the December 7, 2016, elections.
In the company of the party’s parliamentary candidate for the Abuakwa South constituency, Mr. Samuel Atta Akyea, the NPP flagbearer was taken through the procedure of verification by the electoral officers present at the polling station.
Addressing media personnel after the exercise, the NPP flagbearer expressed his satisfaction with the “simple” process, adding that: “I have one vote in the bank for myself” in this year’s presidential election.
Nana Akufo-Addo urged NPP agents at the polling station to remain vigilant during the remainder of the 21-day exercise.
