The Electoral Commission (EC) has initiated an ambitious project that will see the electoral management engage the public, especially, prospective voters, through series of television programs dubbed #ASKTHEEC.
The weekly voter engagement is scheduled to take off on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 on GTV.
The show is expected to be aired at 8:30pm every Wednesday.
#ASKTHEEC is a highly interactive, audience-led program which will feature senior officers of the Electoral Commission and key stakeholders answering pertinent questions from a live studio audience (voters) about the electoral process.
A statement issued by the Commission and signed by its Head of Communications, Eric Kofi Dzakpasu, is therefore urging prospective voters wanting to be part of the studio audience and get the chance to ask his or her question live on the show to send his full name and mobile phone number to mediaoffice@ec.gov.gh or call the Media Office on 0303968750 by Tuesday September 6, 2016.
A member of the Communications Team, he noted, “will get in touch with you”.
