Emmanuel Boateng’s move to the Chinese Super League Dalian Yifang will actually cost €22million instead of €11 million as reported.

According to reports, the Ghanaian hitman has finalized his transfer to the Chinese club Dalian Yifang FC and although there are still several important economic issues to be resolved between his parent club UD Levante and the Asian entity, the player is still in Spain.

The Dalian Yifang FC have offered €11 million for Boateng, however because the luxury tax in China requires double payment for any economic operation exceeding €6 million.

Therefore, the deal would cost €22 million and not €11million.

In this regard, the Chinese club seeks alternatives such as sponsorships to pay for the transfer fee.

Boateng was left out of the Frogs squads that travels to Galicia to play Celta Vigo in the La Liga this weekend and has been seen training alone in Orriols.
