The ‘famous’ eyewitness who emerged in the wake of the recent Dome market fire has called on the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo to make good use of the natural resources the country is endowed with.
In a sentimental appeal, delivered in the hyperactive manner he has become famous for, the phone dealer praised the fertility of the Ghanaian soil and said it could grow any crop.
“The tarred roads plied by even the president is capable of growing cassava,” he said in Twi.
He was on Joy News’ ‘JN Interactive’.
The ‘famous’ eyewitness also recalled the American president Donald Trump’s recent ‘shithole’ comment about Africa and said: “Ghana was beyond such insults now.”
The eyewitness whose video went viral on social media because of the way he described the police response to the emergency situation has apparently been living his fifteen minutes of fame to its fullest.
According to him, Ghana is blessed with natural resources that should make the title Ghanaian, synonymous to a “big man”.
“We have gold, diamond, and manganese in this country,” he said in Twi while agreeing with the host of the show, Bernice Abu Baidoo, that the government could be doing a lot better than it currently is.
