Fire guts girls dormitory of Wa Islamic SHS

Fire has destroyed portions of the Girls dormitory of the Wa Islamic Senior High School (SHS) at Busa in the Wa Municipality of the Upper West Region.

Bunk beds, trunks and other personal effects were destroyed in the fire. Affected students have been asked to go home for week.

The Upper West Regional Minister, Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih and his Deputy Amidu Issahaku, have visited the School to assess the situation.
