Accra, Sept. 18, GNA - A list of paid-up members of the Ghana Journalists Association has been compiled prior to the rerun of the Association's presidential elections slated for October 3, 2003. This is part of efforts by the Association to ensure that only paid up members are allowed to vote.
This was contained in a statement in Accra signed by Mr Bright Blewu, General Secretary of the Association.
The statement requested all members of the various chapters to check out their names on the register.
Those in the private media in Accra are to crosscheck with the list displayed at the Ghana International Press Centre.
It said members outside Greater Accra Region, who have either proposals or complaints, are to lodge them with their Regional Branch Executives for onward transmission to the national secretariat.
