A retired Army Officer and former Deputy Minister of Interior has predicted that soldiers are likely to step into the administration of Ghana if managers of the country fail to sit-up.  Captain (rtd) Nkrabeah Effah-Dartey noted that it is tragic that Ghanaians have refused to learn lessons from the country’s history.

Speaking on Rainbow Radio 87.5fm’s breakfast show dubbed; “Frontline” hosted by Kwame Tutu, Nkrabeah Effah-Dartey said the unprecedented levels of corruption in Ghana currently, is creating fertile grounds for trigger loving military officers to seize the administration of the country.

Lawyer Effah-Dartey’s interview with Rainbow Radio was a follow-up interview on an article he (Lawyer Dartey) wrote in THE MOMENT Newspaper.

He wondered the lack of political will on the part of President Mahama’s government to investigate and punish people found culpable for corruption.

Captain (rtd) Nkrabeah Effah-Dartey said he is less interested in a military government, but said in contrast that, the suffering of the masses of Ghanaians is likely to pave way for tragic situations in the country.

He admonished Ghanaians in general to pray for the country.
