Ghana’s Emmanuel Dasor misses out on men’s 200m semi-finals

Ghana’s Emmanuel Dasor could not qualify to the semi-finals of the men’s 200metres after finishing sixth heat 2.

The US-based Athlete and National 200m record holder made a time of 20.65 failing to improve on his personal best.

Dasor’s failure to progress in the 200m means Ghana will now have to shift focus to the Women’s 4X100 relay event which will be competed by quartet Janet Amposah, Gemma Acheampong, Beatrice Gyaman and Akua Obeng Akrofi.

Ghana will also be looking forward in making an impression in the men’s javelin throw which will be competed by John Ampomah.
