Ghanaian striker Fatawu Safiu has been rewarded with a permanent deal by Swedish club Trelleborg following an impressive loan spell.
The 25-year old forward joined the Swedish second tier club on an initial four months loan from Asante Kotoko, having helped the Ghanaian team to the group phase of the 2018-19 CAF Confederations cup.
Safiu racked an impressive tally of five(5) goals in nine(9) matches since joining Trelleborg in August this year.
Report say the new long term deal will fetch Asante Kotoko $110,000 in addition to the initial $35,000 they received for the 4 months loan.
